Multi-Day Tours: Mandatory
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Multi-Day Tours. You must purchase a policy that is in force on the start date and throughout your trip.
Your policy must cover, at minimum:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Emergency medical expenses
- Medical evacuation and repatriation
- Loss of or damage to baggage
We are not liable for losses that adequate insurance would have covered. Please be ready to provide policy details on request.
Day Experiences & Workshops: Recommended
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for Day Experiences and Workshops but not mandatory. Craft, cooking, and tasting activities involve normal risks (tools, kilns, open flame, food and drink) — a policy gives you peace of mind.
What to Look For
- Validity: the policy must be valid in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the full duration of your trip.
- Activities: check that craft workshops, cooking classes, and any adventurous activities in your itinerary are covered — exclusions can apply.
- Medical limits: evacuation and repatriation from remote areas can be expensive — aim for high coverage limits.
- Pre-existing conditions: disclose them when buying the policy.
Health & Dietary Disclosure
Insurance is not a substitute for telling us about medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs. Please share these at least 30 days before the start date (or at booking for Day Experiences). We’ll do our best to accommodate them.
