Who We Are
CraftnCulture (“we”, “us”) operates craftnculture.uz, offering cultural workshops, Silk Road tours, and artisan marketplace products in Uzbekistan. This policy explains how we handle personal data you share with us.
Data We Collect
- Booking and order data: name, email, phone number, billing address, and the workshop, tour, or product you booked or purchased.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — only the last 4 digits and a payment reference for receipts.
- Communication: messages you send via the contact form, custom-tour inquiries, and email correspondence.
- Analytics: anonymized page views, device type, country, and traffic source via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. Loaded only after you accept cookies.
- Cookies: a session cookie for cart state, an affiliate referral cookie (30 days) if you arrived via a partner link, and analytics cookies after consent.
How We Use Your Data
- To confirm and fulfill your bookings and orders
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, receipts)
- To respond to your inquiries
- To improve our services through aggregated analytics
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.
Service Providers
We share necessary data with the following processors strictly to deliver our services:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — website hosting
- Resend — transactional email
- Google Analytics — anonymized site analytics (after consent)
Data Retention
Booking, order, and payment records are retained for 7 years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Marketing emails (if you subscribed) are retained until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing info@craftnculture.uz. We respond within 30 days.
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for craftnculture.uz — the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Database access is restricted by row-level security and audit logs.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Bookings made on behalf of minors are made and authorized by a parent or guardian.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The current version is always at craftnculture.uz/privacy with the “last updated” date below.
