Moments that define the week. None are staged. All are repeatable on any street corner in the old city — once you know who to ask.
Old mahallas, the tandir, the bazaar
We are not a tour company. We are a small team who believe travel can preserve a tradition — but only if it's slow, small, and built on real relationships.
Yusufbek and Julia have spent three years building trust with master artisans across five cities. They show up to workshops with you — not as a tour operator dropping off guests, but as friends introducing friends.
Small groups mean genuine connection — with the craft, the artisan, and the place. You sit at the loom yourself. You shape the bread yourself. Nothing is performed.
No staged demos, no costume-piece tours. The studios you visit are working studios, the kitchens are family kitchens, and the people teaching you are the ones who do this every day for a living.
Step into the silk and ceramics heart of Uzbekistan, where art is not preserved in museums but lived, practiced, and passed down daily. The Fergana Valley has been the country’s creative soul for centuries—home to legendary silk production in Margilan and world-famous blue ceramics from Rishtan. This journey is entirely about craft, artistry, and human skill, inviting you to experience Uzbekistan through the hands of its masters rather than from a distance.
From shimmering silk traditions born on the ancient Silk Road to pottery techniques refined over generations, this tour celebrates the Valley as a living workshop. You can choose between two ways to experience it, each offering the same deep artistic encounters, but with a different pace and atmosphere.
Designed for travelers who want to go deep without staying overnight. An early flight from Tashkent brings you straight into the valley, where the day unfolds around Uzbekistan’s most celebrated crafts. In Margilan, step into the world of silk along the ancient Silk Road, then continue to Rishtan, famous for its striking blue ceramics. Here, you’ll visit two contrasting ceramic studios—one larger production space and one traditional family workshop—before shaping your own piece of pottery by hand. As the day winds down, enjoy a relaxed local dinner before your evening flight back to Tashkent.

I came for the monuments. I left thinking about the master ceramicist's hands and the smell of the tandir at dawn.
Small group, deep care. Our hosts knew every artisan by name — and the artisans knew them.
The plov afternoon alone was worth the trip. I haven't stopped talking about it.
