About CraftnCulture
Connecting travelers with Central Asia's master artisans to preserve traditional crafts and create meaningful cultural exchanges.
Our Story
CraftnCulture was founded in 2024 by Yusufbek and Julia, a husband-wife team passionate about connecting travelers with authentic Uzbek culture. After Yusufbek spent 4 years in Poland, they returned to Uzbekistan with a vision to bridge Eastern and Western markets.
Today, we have built partnerships with over 30 artisans across Uzbekistan's most famous cities — Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and the Fergana Valley. Each partnership represents a commitment to preserving centuries-old craftsmanship.
Our mission is simple: give travelers hands-on access to master craftspeople while providing artisans with fair income, market exposure, and global recognition for their skills.
Together with our co-founder Sanjar, we're building a platform that celebrates Uzbekistan's living heritage and creates meaningful cultural exchanges.
Our Values
Authentic Experiences
We partner directly with master artisans and their families, ensuring genuine cultural exchange and traditional techniques.
Fair Trade Practices
85% of marketplace proceeds go directly to artisans. We pay fair workshop fees and support sustainable craft practices.
Cultural Preservation
Every tour and workshop supports the continuation of centuries-old crafts threatened by industrialization.
Small Group Focus
We keep groups small (max 12-15) to ensure quality instruction, personalized attention, and minimal tourism impact.
